Del.icio.us is one of the most popular social bookmarking site for sharing content through web bookmarking. The site allows users to bookmark and share their favorite content. Honestly, when most online viewers think of the name Del.icio.us, we automatically associated to foods and can say there were thoughts of it being a Food Network type cooking or recipe site. cooking Web syndication is great for users such as RSS feeds. Tagging and index terms are used to keep track of social memes. Joshua Schachter founded the site in 2003.  Around the same time Yahoo! made the $35 million acquisition to Flickr, they also summoned Del.icio.us.  The site was eventually sold on April 27th, 2011 to AVOS Systems. Trunk.ly began a social integration service on March 2nd, 2012 that links Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to the Del.icio.us site.
